While the concept may appear new and perhaps somewhat strange to some, long before liquid shampoo came onto the scene, solid shampoo bars were the standard in much of 19th century Europe. And while there have been countless formula advancements—thank goodness—as well as a movement from bars, to powders, and then liquids, the idea behind today’s modern shampoo bar remains fairly similar: a hassle-free, waterless cleanser for the hair that doesn’t require wasteful packaging.

With a neutral PH and all-natural, hydrating oils, this shampoo bar provides a thorough but mild cleanse for hair and body, including those with sensitive skin and scalp conditions. A luxurious lather is exceptionally good at removing build up and excessive residue from hair products, thus preventing irritation and dryness, while maintaining hair’s natural oils. Beast® Shampoo Bar is color safe, formulated for all hair types and is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffin, gluten, DEA/TEA and petrolatum.
We’re dedicated to being planet-, animal- and skin-friendly. Not only is our shampoo bar 100% vegan and—like all Beast® products—Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free, it contains virtually no water so you’re left with only the active ingredients – good stuff from the earth, like shea butter, coconut, and argan oil. Typical liquid shampoo is often comprised of 70-80% water and that additional weight means greater carbon emissions when shipped. Plus, it has to be contained in something. Unfortunately, more often than not, that container is plastic, most of which isn’t recycled and ends up in landfills and the ocean. We’re proud to say this bar is packaged entirely without the use of plastic, in FSC certified, 100% recyclable packaging.
